  • Tons of Sony news. The PS3 is arriving in November. It will have a non-optional hard drive, unlike the 360. The PSP is getting an EyeToy camera, a video and voice chat service, a GPS receiver, and the ability to download PSone games, and its price is falling to $199.99.
  • THQ creates its own outsourcing provider; hopes to streamline the development process.
  • Take-Two has committed $25M in financial incentives (over three years) to the creative team behind GTA. Talk about negotiating leverage…

  1. I just want to comment that I totally nailed that release date. Just after Thanksgiving and in time for the Xmas rush. There was no way Sony would give up another Xmas of revenue. As long as the price isn’t too high Sony will clean house by Feb 2007.
I wish I didn’t know about the PSone games… now I feel compelled not to sell mine.
